TrackRX

TrackRX_UI.jpg

This user interface design was completed as a challenge for a medical/health tracker mobile application. With the user scenario as a guide, I created an interface for health and activity tracking geared toward families.

User Scenario

Sandra’s household just got a little bigger and with that comes more welcomed responsibility. Sandra’s grandmother, Gloria, has just moved in with Sandra’s family. Sandra, her husband and two children are leaving for a weekend camping trip. Even though the trip is only three days, Sandra is worried her grandmother may forget some steps on her new healthcare routine. While the family is away, Sandra wants her grandmother to stay on her new prescription schedule. In order for Sandra to monitor this, she downloaded the new mobile app, InCare, which will give Gloria immediate access to her prescription schedule and healthcare providers as well as allow Sandra to monitor what has been accomplished on the schedule and even push notifications to Alexa to remind Gloria of events on her schedule to complete.

UI Style Guide

Before embarking on the UI design, I needed to come up with a style for the layout to follow.

Onboarding

After outlining the style guide, I went through the user scenario to make sure that the application made affordances for all the tasks the typical user would want to accomplish. The onboarding for the app describes the primary functions as well as gives a glimpse of the layout.
